Rev. Daniel Dennison
Daniel grew up in Flower Mound, Texas but moved to Norman in 1999 to attend OU. He has served on the Wesley staff in various capacities through the years, but has been our campus minister since June of 2008. He has an education degree from OU and a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary. Daniel’s wife Mindy is the vocal music director at Carl Albert High School. They have a 7-year-old daughter, 4-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son.
Jennifer grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Baylor University. There she discovered her calling to ministry to help educate and engage young people in their faith in order that they may be witnesses to the world around them. After graduating from Baylor in 2009, Jennifer attended George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University. There she got her Master of Divinity with a concentration in Youth and Family Ministry. Jennifer is an avid sports fan, comic book reader, and pop culture junkie.
Rev. Fuxia Wang
Rev. Fuxia Wang grew up in mainland China as an atheist. She became a Christian while pursuing her Master degree at University of Central Oklahoma in 1996 through the Chinese ministry at The Wesley Foundation at UCO. After graduation with an education degree with an emphasis in Teaching English as a Second Language, she attended International Theological Seminary in California in 1998. She is the first woman from mainland China to serve as a full elder in the United States. At the 2007 Oklahoma Annual Conference she was appointed to serve at The Wesley at the University of Oklahoma.
Kevin lives in Oklahoma City with his amazing wife, Madison. He studied psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma, and is currently working on his Masters of Science in Counseling. He also enjoys camping, the outdoors, sports and anything involving food. He loves that his job involves talking to others about God. One of his biggest passions is mission work, and he’s excited about getting students to participate in missions, too.
Gloria was born and raised in Warri, Nigeria. She comes from a family of nine. She came to OU for her master’s degree in 2013 when she became a part of the Wesley family. At that time she became more aware about her calling to ministry and reaching out to people. She loves to spend time in group prayer, worship and communion. She is a great fan of movies, tennis, swimming, music, singing and dancing.
Pam grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma. Then she attended Oklahoma State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Education. She and her husband, Trent, have one son, Tyler. The Moores are very active members of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. They enjoy family vacations together and participate in a variety of activities in the Norman community. Pam enjoys making a home for her family, gardening, exercising, and reading. She is excited about the relationships she will build at The Wesley.
Collin is a new and excited full-time intern. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics. He was born and raised in Tulsa, Okla. While living in Tulsa, he was raised in the Methodist church attending both Boston Avenue UMC and Asbury UMC. When he moved to Norman, he heard about The Wesley from some friends and visited during his second week on campus. He hasn't stopped coming since! He feels our ministry has had a significant spiritual impact on his life, and he can't wait to help others have similar experiences as well!
Haydn is a sophomore at The University of Oklahoma and is double majoring in classical piano and Psychology. She came to The Wesley at the beginning of her freshman year, and it has become one of her favorite parts about OU. When she was a junior in high school, she began feeling called to worship ministry while leading her high school praise band. Music continues to be a main focus in her life, and she’s thankful to be surrounded by the love and support of her family and church family.
Associate Pastor at McFarlin
Devon grew up in Okeene, Okla. and moved from Elk City to Norman in the summer of 2017. He serves as the pastor of Lifeline (contemporary worship) at McFarlin UMC a few blocks north of the OU campus. Devon works in college ministry and is passionate about partnering McFarlin with the Wesley. He has a piano performance degree from SWOSU and Masters of Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology. Devon’s wife Lauran is a stay at home mom. They have two infant daughters, Audrey and Halle.
