welcome to the wesley

Starting college is an exciting time! There are new opportunities, new people and for many of you a new town. It is important during this time to find a place to belong. Many OU freshmen have sought a place to belong, and found The Wesley at OU. Our mission is to be an accepting group that is supportive and also encourages you to grow in your faith. If this is the type of place that you are looking for join us for Vespers on Tuesday night at 9p.m. This is a great first step to getting involved and finding a family at The Wesley.

Check out the list of FAQ about The Wesley, and if you have other questions contact Janey Wilson at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . frequently asked questions:

1. Where is The Wesley at OU?

Click here for a map to The Wesley. We are located on the corner of Lindsey and Elm just north of Adams dorm and south of Dale Hall Tower.

2. Do I have to be a Methodist to join?

No. The Wesley at OU is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, but many of our students were raised in another denomination or are new to church altogether. We welcome anyone regardless of where they are in their relationship with God.

3. I'm interested in the wesley, but I have class on Tuesdays can I be involved?

While Tuesday Night Vespers is usually the best way to get involved in The Wesley it is not necessary to being involved. Contact Janey Wilson at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
